Rooted deeply in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocols, advocacy in UNICEF paves the way for the effective delivery of humanitarian aid and development programs for children worldwide. In this evaluation, the UNICEF Evaluation Office examines the organizational approaches to advocacy, particularly the Global Advocacy Priorities and humanitarian advocacy. The evaluation considers organizational capacities to conceptualize and implement advocacy work and generate the necessary data and evidence to advocate for child rights.
